PATNA: Yet another selifie taken by the prisoners in a Bihar jail has gone viral in the social media, raising a big question mark over security apparatus in state jails.
The fresh selfie was taken by Vivek Singh Rajput who is currently lodged in Chapra jail in connection with excise act, according to media reports.
In the selfie, another man Raju Singh jailed on the charge of running an illegal liquor trade and sitting next to Rajput is seen sipping tea with big smile on his face.
Last month, a selfie by RJD leader Mohammad Shahabuddin had gone viral in the social. The selfie was taken while Shahabuddin now shifted to Delhi’s Tihar jail, was lodged in Siwan jail.
In the new photograph, the controversial RJD leader was seen in an entirely new get-up with shaven head and trimmed moustache. So far, he had been spotted in luxuriant hair and evenly-grown moustache, prompting investigation into the incident.
An investigation by the state administration later found the selfie “original”.
The investigation carried by the local district magistrate, however, didn’t confirm when it was taken.
