Amid tension, India saves two drowning Pak marine commandos


New Delhi: Amid tension between the two neighbours, Indian Coast Guard on Wednesday rescued two Pakistani marine commandos near the Gujarat coast, media reports said.

Reports said the Pakistani marines were chasing a group of Indian fishermen when their boat capsized after hitting one of the Indian boats.

Of the six Pakistani commandos present in the capsized boat, three were drowned and one is missing.

The bodies have been handed over to the Pakistani authorities. The Indian Coast Guards were able to save two of them.

The two neighbours are sharing a very bitter relationship right now after a military court in Pakistan awarding death penalty to  former Indian Navy officer Kulbhushan Jadhav.
