“We have removed all the cops from the police station in view of the complaints and an investigation has been ordered. Further action will be taken once we get the probe report,” Patna’s deputy inspector general of police Shalin told the media on Friday.
He said they were committed to strictly implement the government’s prohibition order.
The Nitish Kumar government enforced total ban on alcohol in April last year and last month, the state formed the world’s longest human chain in support of prohibition.
According to claims of the state government, more than four crore (40 million) people participated in the human chain programme.
