PATNA: Altogether 575 children have gone missing from Patna, the capital of Bihar state, in the past one year, raising a big question mark over safety of the children.
According to reports registered with anti-human trafficking cells, of the total children went missing from Patna, only 299 were traced later whereas the remaining 276 still remain untraceable.

As per the report, a maximum of 73 children went missing in August last year.
Reports further state that majority of the children were missing from Kadamkuan and Patna city localities of the state capital.
It is alleged many human trafficking gangs are operating in the areas.
