Malkangiri, Odisha: At least 23 Maoists were killed in a joint operation by the Odisha and Andhra Pradesh police early Monday morning, reports said.
The encounter took place in Odisha’s Malkangiri district on Monday, as per media reports.

Reports said the rebels were killed in a joint operation by the Greyhounds of AP and the Odisha Police.
The ‘Greyhounds’ is a special anti-naxal unit from Andhra.
Two constables were injured during the course of the operation.
The forces also seized four AK-47 rifles, three self loading rifles along with other ammunition from the fringe outfit.
